DESCRIPTION
Microfiber-Fiberglass is made of glass fibers, bonded with a thermosetting resin into a lightweight, soft and resilient thermal and acoustical insulation.

The comprehensive size and density range of Microfiber-Fiberglass batts and blankets ensures that the efficient and effective product is available for any thermal and acoustical insulation application.

Microfiber-Fiberglass is available in a variety of densities, thicknesses, widths and roll lengths. It can be supplied plain or with various vapour barriers or facings to meet service conditions.

Application
Microfiber-Fiberglass is designed for thermal and acoustical insulation for a variety of applications. It is recommended as thermal insulation for the exterior of round or rectangular sheet metal ducts in heating and cooling systems, plenums or other surfaces or spaces where temperature control is essential.

Sound Absorption
Microfiber-Fiberglass has extremely high acoustical efficiency and is suitable for noise control where special acoustic treatment is required. Noise control is a benefit at no extra cost.

Easy to Handle and Apply
Microfiber-Fiberglass is lightweight, soft and easy to cut with knife. It will not pull apart during normal handling and will not sag with proper application. Its high flexibility makes it easy to apply even in difficult working areas, and easily applied to curved surfaces. It can be applied with mechanical fasteners or adhesives.

Durable
The glass fibers in Microfiber-Fiberglass are incombustible. Being non-hygroscopic, they resist the effect of moisture. The fibers will not deteriorate; are unaffected by oil, grease and most acids; and provide no sustenance for fungi or vermin.

Microfiber is a light weight pipe insulation made of glass fibers bonded with a thermosetting resin. The countless air cells created by these fine fibers are particularly effective in thermal insulations and energy saving.

Main Properties:

  • Spring Hinge Action Type: Light weight and one piece construction, full-length opening and automatic closing easy to cut and fit accurately features speeds on-the-job handling.
  • High Thermal Insulation Efficiency: Thermal Conductivity at O°C mean temperature is merely 0.027 W/m.K
  • Resilient and durable: Moisture resistance, won't shrink, swell or rot.
  • Incombustible.
  • High sound absorption coefficient.

Uses:
For use on hot, cold and chilled water lines; brine refrigerant and special process lines; dual temperature, steam and other hot lines; hot and cold air lines etc.
